The third joint THPUA and ICS Tees Shipping Dinner was a fantastic evening of great food, laughter, and lively conversation, held on 29th November at the stunning Kirkleatham Walled Gardens Grand Marquee. Over 300 guests came together for this memorable event, with the Sea Cadets kicking things off by helping guests arrive and leading a ceremonial march into the venue, a moment that set the perfect tone for the evening.
After a warm welcome from THPUA Chairman Matt Ord and a few words from ICS Chairman Paul Wardell, Wendy O’Donnell and Victoria Parkin took a moment to thank everyone for their incredible support of the Sea Cadets.
The delicious meal got everyone in great spirits, but the real highlight came with the witty and sharp-edged humour of after-dinner speaker Gary Delaney, who had everyone in stitches. The evening wrapped up with dancing and great vibes to the live sounds of Last Anthem, keeping the party going late into the night.
Adding to the fun was a charity raffle that raised over £3,500 for the Sea Cadets and the ICS Education Fund, proof that a great night out can also make a real difference.
